About

Who we are, the Westminster buildings we work on, how a survey and a written quote actually happen, and where we draw the line on what we will take on.

How the business runs

One era of building, known properly

We replace roofs in Westminster and the cities around it. That is a deliberate limit, and here it is a narrower one than it sounds: most of this city was built in a single decade, so the housing is a known quantity down to the framing and the original covering.

We also take on manufactured homes, which a lot of roofing companies quietly decline. They are a genuinely different structure needing different systems, and being told 'we do not do those' is not much use when it is your roof.

  • No doorstep quotes, and no price without a survey
  • No tile specified on a structure that will not carry it
  • Park rules agreed before a date is set, not on the morning
  • If a scope cannot be photographed, it is not invoiced

How it runs

Four steps, no surprises

Free inspection with the tile salvage counted, then a written quote.

01

Call or message

Tell us the covering and the street. In a city built this uniformly, the street alone often tells us the era, the framing and the original roof before anyone travels.

02

Free inspection, and the layer count

Roof and attic together, and the rake edge checked. Sixty years on, how many coverings are already up there decides whether a tear-off is optional or mandatory -- and that is most of the price.

03

The cheaper option priced alongside

A relay rather than a tile replacement, a roof-over rather than a tear-off on a manufactured home, a partial rather than a full. If one of those is right for you, it appears on the quote next to the big number.

04

Written scope, written quote, then the work

Covering, underlayment and flashings named. Sheathing priced per sheet. The area left clean and the before-and-after set handed over.

Before you choose

Five things worth checking on every quote you get

Including ours. There are enough door-knockers working this county that the checks are worth making on anybody.

01

The license number, before the ladder

California requires a C-39 license to roof, and the CSLB register is public and free. A minute spent there is the cheapest protection available on a job of this size.

02

Has anyone looked at the rake edge

The layer count is a thirty-second check and it decides whether a tear-off is optional or mandatory. A quote that does not state how many layers are up there has not established its own cost.

03

Which authority is the permit going to

Westminster, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Seal Beach and Los Alamitos each run their own department. Midway City is unincorporated Orange County. Filing in the wrong place costs a week.

04

Are the fixings specified for the distance from the water

Standard galvanized fixings corrode near the coast and the covering lifts around them while the mat is still sound. It is a small cost and a large difference, and it is rarely mentioned.

05

A price at the door is not a quote

It is an opening position. Nobody can say what a roof needs without going up and without looking at the ceiling line inside, and anyone willing to commit to a figure before doing both is guessing high to stay safe or low to win the job.
